ABOUT
Jonathan Cammisa is a veteran graphic designer, illustrator, and fine artist. His branding work stands out for the way it bridges the original and the familiar, resulting in a style that feels as though it has always belonged.
His clients span a wide range of industries—from skateboards and streetwear to outdoor gear, high fashion, print publications, consumer products, and immersive hospitality branding.
Over the past seven years, Jonathan’s work has expanded rapidly in the hospitality space, where he’s designed brand identities for coffee shops, diners, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, cafés, and lounges across New York City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.
Earlier in his career, Jonathan worked as an assistant to skateboard legend and artist Mark Gonzales for three years, laying out countless Gonz art decks and designed two skate video packaging and title sequences for Krooked Skateboards. As well as collaborating with the Gonz for an in-store installation take-over of Gonzales's art at Supreme’s flagship Soho location.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Jonathan attended arts-focused schools from grade school through high school before earning his BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and where he spent the next 17 years. Jonathan now lives with his wife and 2 kids in Mt Airy Philadelphia in a giant 100 yr old tutor with an in-ground pool, an aging trampoline and a second fringe in the garage:)
